I have always been a Conn fan and owned probably 20 in my life thus far. While I have a soft spot in my heart for the New Wonder II horns, the 10M is truly Conn's best saxophone ever produced. Having played a lot of these horns, I can confidently say that this is one of the top two 10M's I've ever played. The tone is just lush, dark, sweet, and huge, but this horn retains such a tight core at the same time. On top of being a fabulous player, it also looks BEAUTIFUL. It has 98% of it's original lacquer remaining with no re-solders and no major trauma / damage in it's life. The neck has signs of being pulled down at some point, but is in round and has no structural damage. Looks as though this horn has been overhauled at some point very recently and has nice pads with Noyek resonators. Generally those are not my favorite, but they work really well on this horn! You will not go wrong with this 10M. It is ready to be gigged and played for many many years to come.
